YOUR RED DOOR TEAM IS VOLUNTEERING AT THE VNSA 60TH ANNUAL BOOKSALE
Katie Evans & Chelsea Anderson of Your Red Door Team at Keller Williams Realty East Valley believe in giving back to the community which is why you'll find the whole team out at the State Fair Grounds this Saturday morning volunteering at the 60th annual VNSA Booksale. This booksale is an annual event that brings in close to $400,000 for local charities and offers almost 500,000 books for sale. Chelsea and Pam Brown-Elwood, another member of Your Red Door Team are members of the VNSA and volunteer year round to help collect, sort and price the books that end up at the sale.
This is a great event and is a local staple in February! As VNSA prepares for it's 60th sale this year, people are traveling from across the country to line up to be one of the first through the door Saturday morning. The doors open Saturday at 8:00 am and will go to 5:00 and then again on Sunday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Check out the video Chelsea took from the sale last year as the doors opened Saturday morning! If you do plan to attend, parking is $7 while entry is free into the event. Make sure to bring bags, suitcases, wheelies, carts, etc. to carry your books and treasures. The shopping carts tend to go very quickly!
