Chelsea Elwood, Realtor with Keller Williams Realty East Valley just sold 2 homes this last week in Mesa. The first home, 5430 E Carmel Avenue in Mesa, Chelsea represented the Seller. The home was scheduled for foreclosure but because Chelsea caught the seller in time, they were able to salvage the home from the auction block and the Seller walked away with cash in her pocket. The home sold for $151,500.
The buyer's agent, Troy Nipstad of Realty One Group also helped to move the transaction through to the closing at Security Title with Megan Connolly as the Title agent.

The other home Chelsea sold last week is at 2718 E Harmony in Mesa. This home was a part of the City of Mesa, Neighborhood Stabilization Program which offers down payment assistance for qualified buyers who participate in the program. They offer $15,000 in down payment assistance and $5,000 towards the Buyer's closing costs on specific homes offered through their program. Each city has their own version of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. Chelsea helped the buyer understand what the program offers and what the benefits are and what the drawbacks are. She helped her client through the process and to fully understand the transaction and what was happening behind the scenes. We were able to close early on the home last week thanks in part to Ron Kuhn of AmeriFirst Financial who helped the Buyer with an FHA mortgage. Ron's timely responses and "rock-it" attitude helped us to close early and successfully on this great little home!
The home is 1,100 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and fully remodeled inside. The home was purchased for $131,000. The buyer could not be happier with her home purchase!
