New Home Construction - Gilbert, AZ

The market is on its way into a recovery.  We have talked about the market shifting to a seller's market from the buyers market.  We have a housing shortage in re-sale homes causing builders to begin construction again full tilt.  I have spoken with multiple builder's representatives and their stories are the same.  They are selling 25-30 new homes in a 2 month period, beginning other phases of development!  What a great sight.  Finally, construction!

As a side note, new home sales are quickly becoming the only option for a lot of buyers who are looking to financing for their home purchase.  Due to the multiple offer situation present in the marketplace, cash still counts and financed offers are largely being discounted or thrown out of the mix entirely.  Builders are still willing to work with lenders to put people in homes without the hassle of a bidding war!  Be aware however that your agent must be present the FIRST time you enter a model home for them to be able to represent you in that transaction!

K Hovnanian Homes has come out with a really nice product with beautiful options that just say "Home."  Their development located at Val Vista & Queen Creek, Vintage at Legend Ridge has versatile floor plans that can accommodate any size family, home offices and up to 5 car garages.  These models are wonderful and very indicative of the product represented.  K Hovnanian's policy is that of customer satisfaction.  They schedule follow ups with their home owners to make sure that their customers are completely happy in their home; a nice change of pace from what can be a very competitive and cut throat marketplace.  Check the development out with this link: http://www.khov.com/Home/AZ/143980000/_Properties_AUTH.htm

You may want to relocate because you can't find a job in your rural hometown, and believe that moving to a big city will increase your opportunities. While it is usually true that urban areas have more career options than rural areas, some cities have better job markets than others. Make sure you choose a city with a flourishing market in your industry so that you don't have a difficult time finding employment.
